THE LAWRENCE & ARTELIA PERRY SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Established in 2011, the Lawrence and Artelia Perry Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing scholarships for students at Bennett College, Livingstone College, and North Carolina Central University. The Fund seeks to assist students who are attending or will attend either of these three schools with expenses related to their college experience on the basis of merit and need. If you are a graduate (or upcoming 2018 graduate) of any public school (including charter schools funded by the State of North Carolina) in Durham, NC, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship from this Scholarship Fund. Selected scholarship recipients will be awarded funds in the Fall of 2018 upon receipt of proof of enrollment at your college or university for the fall semester. This year, our awards will be announced during our 6th Annual Legacy Luncheon, when the Board of Directors will honor retired clergy in the Durham community who have developed a significant legacy. The Luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Duke Inn, 3001 Cameron Blvd., Durham. All 2018 scholarship recipients must be present at the Legacy Luncheon, complimentary of the Board of Directors
