Parents, Caretakers, and Educators,
November is National Veterans and Military Families Month, and November 11th is Veterans Day.
This year, we want to give students the opportunity to help us show our appreciation for our servicemen and servicewomen with holiday cards.
We are making it simple for parents and teachers to help their students make and send these cards.
Whether you and your child want to send one card or if you want to start a card drive for your entire school, you can follow these easy instructions to get holiday cards to members of our armed forces who will be away from home this holiday season.
We are proud that North Carolina is one of the top states for our servicemen and servicewomen. These thoughtful and kind messages mean so much to our heroes. Thank you for helping us all show our appreciation for their service to our nation.
If you or your student would like to organize a Holiday Card Drive for VAHS, please contact Ms. O'Kane
With gratitude,
