Triangle
Community Foundation is excited to announce its newest scholarship
opportunity, the Citrix Scholarship. Citrix is renewing its commitment to
diversity and partnering with Triangle Community Foundation to support
students pursuing STEM careers at historically black colleges and
universities in the Triangle area.
We are accepting
applications from students who will be:
- Enrolled for the 2017-2018 academic year
- Attending North Carolina Central University, Shaw
University, or St. Augustine's University
- Majoring (or planning to major) in a STEM and/or
computer science field
Scholarships
will be valued at $5,000 per year ($2,500 per semester) for up to four
years, and can be used for tuition, fees, books, room and board and
one-time computer purchase at one of the three eligible schools.
Recipients must remain enrolled in a STEM and/or computer science major
at an eligible school and maintain a 2.5 GPA to continue receiving their
scholarship.
Applications:
All
applications must be submitted by June 1st using
the Foundation's online system. Applicants
will create a profile, upload a completed application form and
attachments, and provide the name and email address of
one recommender. Recommenders will be notified by email through
the portal and will be asked to submit their recommendations online by
June 1st, 2017.
Official
transcripts should be uploaded to the online system or postmarked
by the application deadline and mailed directly to:
