Multicultural Online Visit Experience

The University of Richmond is excited to offer an outreach program in a new format. MOVE (Multicultural Online Visit Experience) is a two-day virtual evening program on October 15 and 16. Participants will join candid discussions with faculty, students, and University leadership, learn more about available support services, participate in an interactive icebreaker with current students, and even benefit from a moment of wellness through a guided meditation.

Eligible students are interested in UR and meet the criteria below:

  • High school senior
  • Self-identify as a member of a historically underrepresented population (African American, Asian American, biracial/multiracial, Latino/a, Native American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander) -OR- is interested in issues of diversity and inclusion
  • Has at least a 3.6 cumulative GPA
  • Active member of their community

While this program is open to all students interested in diversity and inclusion experiences, students from traditionally underrepresented or underserved backgrounds will be prioritized in the selection process.

Please view and submit this short interest form (due October 1). They will select students for MOVE on an ongoing basis, with final selections completed by October 10. Please be advised that although the program is virtual, space is limited to keep breakout groups small and the level of personal engagement high.
