Discovery Days at Campbell University

Discovery Day is an interactive workshop day for rising 9th – 12th graders to explore careers in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, physician assistant practice, physical therapy, and nursing.  

 

Registration for Discovery Days includes a $45.00 non-refundable fee per student.

 

Forty seats are available per day and are first come, first served basis.

Study Skills Camps

Preparing Middle and High School Students for Success

Learning Strategies • Organizational Skills • Test-Taking Skills

The Psychoeducational Clinic is pleased to announce that registration is open for our 2022 summer Study Skills Camps! This week-long in-person camp includes lessons and activities designed to help students develop good study and organizational habits, including:

Time Management 
Organization of Materials and Notebooks 
Note-Taking and Reading Comprehension Strategies
Improving Motivation and Avoiding Procrastination
Goal-Setting and Self-Regulation
Creating Schedules
Developing Homework Routines
and much more! 
Camp sessions will be offered during the following weeks:
 
July 11-15
July 18-22
July 25-29
August 1-5

 
Each camp is one week long and is held for two hours each day, either in the morning (9:30am-11:30am) or the afternoon (1:00pm-3:00pm)

Spring newsletter from UNC's SUPER initiative

 

The INSPIRED Lab at the UNC School of Social Work is part of a  SAMHSA-funded Substance Use Prevention Education and Research (SUPER) Initiative. They have developed a spring newsletter for youth in Durham and Granville counties. Check out the newsletter below to learn about some of their fun summer events!
