Sep 2* Triangle Comics Creator Network at 6p: Calling all comic book creators and creatives! We’re having a virtual meeting to discuss all
things writing, illustrating, and creating.
Sep 7 The Teen Gaming Area is open at Main! Come downstairs and sign up for a round! The Teen Gaming Area is open Monday – Saturday
from 11am until 1 hour before the library closes. It is first-come, first-serve. For tweens & teens, grades 6-12.
Sep 9* Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Club at 6p. This month we’re reading Frank Herbert's Dune!
Sep 15 It’s Early Release Day so let’s have some fun! The Teen Gaming Center will be open, along with some board games, and snacks! Pull

Sep 25 Pride Durham: Join The LGBTQ Center of Durham as they host the annual Pride Parade and Festival! (at Duke East Campus and

Sep 26 – Oct 2 is Banned Books Week where we celebrate the freedom to read. Come grab a book that has been challenged in libraries,
schools, and youth centers. Write a letter to a banned author and tell them why you like their book. We’ll make sure they get the message.
Oct 1 is the first day of TeenTober! All month long we’re celebrating teen services in libraries. What will you discover?
