Continue Working on College Applications
Working on college applications over the course of a few months will save you and your teen a lot of stress when deadlines approach in November and December.
Experts encourage students to apply to a mix of schools that include some reach and safety picks, but keep in mind that applications can end up costing families hundreds of dollars. By now, high school seniors should have created a solid list of colleges to apply to, decided if and when to take the ACT or SAT, started working on application essays and asked for recommendation letters.
