The UNC Department of Neurology invites VAHS students to their upcoming Neurology Career Forum scheduled for Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The Department’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is hosting this virtual event to showcase the various career opportunities in neurology and encourage students and anyone considering a career change ̶ especially underrepresented groups ̶ to consider pursuing medical careers with a neurological focus.
The event will feature experts from a wide variety of careers including sleep and other neurodiagnostic technologists, clinic and intensive care nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, neurologists, clinical researchers, science researchers and clinic administrators. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The UNC Department of Neurology provides expert consultation and specialty care for both adults and children through their many clinics and centers. Their interdisciplinary teams include more than 50 neurologists who have comprehensive knowledge across a wide range of subspecialties. The group also actively pursues many clinical trials, striving to develop and implement new treatments for neurological disorders.
