The U.S. News Path to College Scholarship is open to U.S. freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors in U.S. homeschool, public or private high schools who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university immediately following high school graduation. To apply for the need-blind scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 or equivalent scale and be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Two winners will be selected based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community volunteerism, leadership honors and awards, paid work experience and a brief essay. In the case of equivalent candidates, priority will be given based on the earlier date that this scholarship application is completed.
